Flutter Developer

Our partner is a leading software provider specializing in industrial aftersales and digital documentation, delivering cost-effective and value-adding cloud solutions to over 1,000 global customers. Headquartered in Nuremberg, with additional sites in Inning, Amberg, Karlsruhe (plusmeta), and Pristina, Kosovo, the company boasts a dedicated and passionate workforce of 270 employees across the Group.

We are looking for the best candidates for the position Flutter Developer, with starting date 15 September 2024.

Main responsibilities & tasks

• Development and optimization of our mobile application using the Flutter framework.
• Conception and development of scalable and maintainable solutions, considering performance, security, and usability, as well as market fit and customer needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug issues, and implement solutions to ensure high quality and reliability of the application.
• Optimization of workflows, build pipelines and tools to ensure an efficient and clear development process.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the mobile development team, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications & skills required

• Minimum 3+ years, proven experience as a Flutter developer in professional mobile application development, ideally in B2B industry.
• Proficiency in Dart programming language and the Flutter framework, with a good understanding of mobile app development principles and patterns.
• Good understanding of modern mobile app technologies, architectural patterns, and application security.
• Experience with state management, storage of offline data and APIs (e.g. GraphQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• High quality and security awareness.
• Mindset of sharing knowledge, strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
• Experience in provisioning of an app via app store, with good knowledge of app stores guidelines is a plus.

Other / specifics:

• Upskilling is possible for candidates with proven experience as a web developer and strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) if they are highly motivated to learn Flutter.
• Published apps on the App Store or Google Play Store is a plus.
• Experience in working with multilingual and intercultural teams is a plus.
