Database / Data warehouse Systems Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Following new developments, innovations related with banking sector and technology, and evaluating benefits of them and sharing with upper title.
• Making research about companies to get service and their solutions.
• Following existing developments and also international developments.
• Searching about solutions for any possible problem which is under his/her responsibility
• Ensure that databases used are updated and secure.
• Preparing ongoing project reports which are demanded.
• In related subjects, preparing periodical reports and submitting to Supervisor.
• Weekly collecting reports from the staff under his/her title and following their jobs.
• Following all request and changes over ticket management platform.
• Applying changes based on Change management procedure.
• Managing licenses and maintenance agreements.
• Dealing with request and mitigation plans IT Audit, Information Security.
• Meeting with staff under his/her title in a period, evaluating and performing proposals
• Informing and leading staff under his/her title about new developments and changes.
• Following and eliminating and preventing repetition of problems defined in audit reports.
• Providing quality and service standards in projects/duties.
• Applying data security policies and rules while realizing any functions in his/her responsibility.
• Data warehouse process management and maintenance, such as ETL tasks

Qualifications required:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree on related universities
• Analytical thinking and effective evaluation on results
• Fast decision making ability
• Coordination and direction ability
• Foreseeing and evaluating risks
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• Having knowledge about MS Office
• Familiarity with data replication/streaming technologies
• Skills in database design, documentation, security and coding
• Skills in database architecture and internals
• Experience or knowledge with big data technologies
• Experience or knowledge with Unix/Linux systems administration
• Skills in ETL tools, Oracle Golden Gate and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus
• Knowledge of middleware technologies (Oracle WebLogic)
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming
• Flexible in working hours if required

Work Experience: 2-4 years’ experience in Information Technologies (IT), preferably in banking sector or any enterprise company.
